Kelsang Norbu

Norbu is the Resident Teacher at Amitayus Centre. A disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Norbu is a Buddhist monk who has been studying, practising and teaching meditation for several years. He first started attending the branch classes held in Wrexham, developed a strong interest in Buddhism, and took ordination in May of 2004. His Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme now resides at Tara Buddhist Centre, Derby - one of the foremost Buddhist colleges in Europe. When teaching, Norbu demonstrates comprehensive Buddhist knowledge, which he shares in a humorous and compassionate way.
